To achieve balance and a state of homeostasis is often core to why we seek out complementary health treatments. These can help us find solutions or give us options to explore different treatments that improve life force energy, circulation, joint mobility and flexibility. Treatments may also help to improve self-esteem, allow for deeper self-knowledge, and give us a feeling of wholeness. Shiatsu, Raynor Massage and Reflexology allow us time out and with some stimulation: stress, tension and old blockages are disbursed and the body's natural self-healing mechanism is kick-started. Treatments are not what Deepak Chopra calls a magic bullet, but they are there to propel us to a higher level of awareness, understanding and aliveness.
