Yee Liu Williams

Background
Yee-Liu studied at Westminster University and obtained a first class, BSc (Hons) in Health Sciences in 2007; she was also awarded the Nutri Industry award in Complementary Health for that year. Yee Liu has a full membership of the Complementary Therapies Association (CThA) and is a registered member of CNHS. Since graduating she has developed her clinical practice in the Wimbledon and Kingston area. Yee-Liu strongly believes in the functional medicine approach to health and well being. She is particularly interested in the Psycho-Neuro-Immunology (PNI) aspect of health. This looks to examine causal physical, biochemical and energetic imbalances of the mind-body relationship and not just the presenting symptoms. This is very much a patient-centered approach, working in partnership to identify both physical and environmental imbalances, such as; food intolerance, environmental and sensitivity, nutritional deficiencies, lifestyle influences and emotional stressors as contributing factors to dis-ease. Yee-Liu integrates the use of pioneering technology such as ASYRA system and SCENAR technology that focuses on protocols to build the immune system and raises overall baseline of health in rebalancing the body systems to achieve optimal health and well being.

Description of treatment
Nutritional therapists aim to improve the body’s efficiency by identifying the cause of a problem and then dealing with it using a number of different types of diets, herbs and dietary supplements, according to individual need. Through various methods it is possible to treat many dysfunctions before they even manifest as illnesses in the body and to be effective in addressing many stress related areas of life that may adversely affect health.
