Cognitive Hypnotherapy & NLP

C H - Cognitive Hypnotherapy employs techniques to modify negative patterns so the client is able to take control of their behavior. Each client’s problem pattern will be formed uniquely, even when the label given to it is shared by many. Consequently, each will require a different sequence of techniques, connected together by a pattern of suggestion based on their way of thinking. Hypnotherapy is used to combat a number of issues, not limited to, but including, anxiety issues, smoking cessation, phobias, weight loss, boosting self esteem, depression, pain control and management and more...

NLP - Neuro-Linguistic Programming: NLP techniques are often paired with Hypnotherapy treatments as they are particularly effective in quickly eliminating and changing patterns of negative mental and emotional behavior. Clients can be taught NLP techniques, which can be used as a coping strategy or to make significant changes in their lives. They can then practice these techniques and use them when they are back in the "real" world. The use of NLP helps to reduce the number of sessions needed to overcome problems (which is why Hypnotherapy and NLP treatments can be effective in only a few, short sessions) and effectively allow clients to regain control over their thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique: EFT is an emotional, needle free version of acupuncture that is based on discoveries regarding the connection between your body's subtle energies, your emotions, and your health. EFT has been reported to be successful in thousands of cases covering a huge range of emotional, health and performance issues. It often works where nothing else will and can be taught to clients in as little as 15 minutes.

CBT - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: CBT can be used alongside all of the above techniques and is particularly effective when treating clients with anxiety and/or depression. The techniques utilized in CBT provide clients with ways to re-frame negative thinking patterns as well as undertake tasks between sessions that allow them to learn more about themselves. CBT also teaches clients coping strategies and makes them more aware of day to day triggers that cause their problems to manifest. I personally use CBT techniques sparingly throughout my therapy sessions and would urge someone interested in undertaking full sessions in CBT, to contact a fully qualified CBT therapist.
