Salma Khan

Ms Salma S. Khan, Nutrition Consultant & Health Writer is a highly qualified Health Practitioner - she advises clients on a broad range of nutritional issues, and specialises in all matters related to nutrition. Salma incorporates Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques within each consultation in order to motivate clients to reach their nutritional goals. All clients are provided with unique bespoke nutritional plans devised to suit their individual needs.

Salma is originally from a Biomedical Sciences background (specialising in Clinical Chemistry). She has worked in various laboratories to gain first-hand experience of nutritional testing. Her intense passion for nutrition led her on a journey to study the subject in great depth.

As well as consulting with clients, Salma is a keen writer and public speaker - she has contributed nutrition related articles to the media including the Daily Mail online, as well as contributing to radio shows.

Salma has also worked for a premium supplement and health food company based in Surrey where she has formulated new health products. In addition, Salma has been a guest speaker at a top health retreat in Gozo, Malta. She is currently in the process of planning a series of health retreats. Besides this, Salma voluntarily works for a global charitable organization where she is involved in the ongoing development of the nutrition department at a hospital based in Latin America.

Prior to meeting with Salma, clients are requested to complete a health questionnaire. The initial session involves a thorough history taking based on the health questionnaire, followed by expert advice. Follow-up sessions involve further discussions and advice. After each session clients are emailed a bespoke nutritional plan that consists of various documents such as an eating plan, visual food ideas, supplement recommendations, suggestions for nutritional testing and a detailed client report highlighting areas to improve on.

Nutritional Therapy is the application of a nutritional science whereby various tools are used to analyze and identify nutritional imbalances that may lead to various health concerns. This science is an individualised approach that may support the unique expression of health and vitality for each unique individual.

As each individual is considered unique, bespoke advice is provided and a personalised nutrition approach is implemented, rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach.

If you are currently facing any of the following challenges, then Nutritional Therapy may be beneficial for you;

Weight Issues, Skin Health (e.g. acne, eczema & anti-aging strategies), Hormonal Issues (e.g. PCOS), Digestive Health, Food Intolerances/Allergies, Migraines, Fertility Health (for both women & men), Inflammatory Conditions (e.g. Gout & MS), Issues with Energy, Low Mood (e.g. Stress Management), Children's Health (e.g. Autism & ADHD), Sports Nutrition (Recreational & Professional Athletes).
